Master William Tresten began studying martial arts in 2000, and has trained in numerous styles including Taekwondo, Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu, Systema, and Jeet Kune Do. In 2008, he enrolled in the Air Force/Army Combatives Program in 2008 and became certified as a Combatives Instructor for the US Army and Air Force. Tresten’s faith and desire to help others motivated him to launch Tactical Defense System, a Christian reality-based training system, in 2016. Today, Tresten is the head instructor and owner of his school in Houston, Texas.
